WHO WILL BE AWARDED AS YOUNG MANAGER OF 2010?

Ever since the year the section of young managers at the Manager Association grants
an award Young Manager to a successful young manager. Who shall be the one
to receive the sculpture of the black proteus symbolizing the award this year, will be
known on September 29th on Management Congress.
Finalists for the Young Manager of 2010 are the following:

- Janko Medjo, member of the managemnt group of Unicredit Bank d.d.,
- Simona Mele, chairman of the management group of Kompas d.d.,
About the selection
Candidates for the Young Manager award shall meet the following conditions:
-
candidates shall be no more than 40 years old in the year, in which they
are granted the award; -
according to the Companies Act the company shall be classified among
medium-sized or large-sized companies; -
the candidate must be a member of the company's executives (members
of the Management Board and other managerial and leading workers with
executive competences and responsibilities); -
the company or companies, in which the candidate is (was previously)
employed, has (have) in recent years achieved above-average business
results. Business results take into account in most cases the growth of
profit and added value, the company development as such, successful
elimination losses and other related indicators, increase in the number of
employees and improvement of their social situation, attitude towards economic
and social environment and personal characteristics and personal contribution
of the candidate towards the company success.
In addition to business achievements, personal profile of an individual also plays a
crucial role in making the decision.
The Commission for selecting the Young Manager in their evaluation leans on the
professional analysis, which is carefully and thoroughly prepared for each individual
candidate by the company Bisnode based on a comprehensive questionnaire.
